Dimapur, November 20 (MExN): The MGOS Church, Midland celebrated its feast of Patron Saint Mar Gregarious of Parumala on November 18 and 19 with Dr. Yuhanon Mar Chrisostomos, Metropolitan of Niranam diocese, as chief celebrant.
In his message, Dr. Yuhanon highlighted the life of Saint Gregarious of Parumala stating that during his lifetime and even after death, thousands of devotees, irrespective of religion and caste, received immense blessings. Now Parumala is a global pilgrimage centre of the Syrian Orthodox Church, he informed.
Following a Holy Communion, there was a public meeting in the church along with procession followed by love feast. People form Kohima, Jorhat and other parts of Nagaland participated in the feast along with the Malayalee community of Dimapur.
