Dimapur, February 15 (MExN): The NSCN (R) led by Akato Chophi has conveyed a very warm festival's Greetings on the occasion of 'Milei Ngi' festival of the Zeliang Nagas which falls during the middle part of March. It is a festival of purification celebrated by the Zeme tribe. Dressed in traditional attire, young boys and girls perform traditional dances at the event, the MIP of NSCR (R) stated. “Apart from dances and songs, indigenous games like wrestling and long jump are also held. With the enthusiasm that this festival brings, may this occasion also bring about strong bond between Nagas and to step together into the future in solidarity and unity,” it conveyed.
