Dimapur, September 12 (MExN): Nagaland Minister for Agriculture & Co-operation G Kaito Aye has mourned the demise of Viyito Jimo, Head GB of Ghukiye village, who passed away on September 11.
Offering condolences to the bereaved family, loved ones and the people of Ghukiye village, Minister Kaito stated that late “Viyito Jimo was a father figure to me, who stood with me in my humble beginnings and has been my guide and mentor in my career.”
Expressing gratitude for his steadfast support and guidance, Kaito said that the revered centenarian’s demise was a great loss for the Sumi Community. “He was a torch bearer and a guide for our community, his passing has left an irreparable void. The life he lived, humble and upright will be celebrated and cherished for generations to come,” Kaito stated in a condolence message on Monday.
