Ministers’ Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School, Kohima observed Earth Day on April 22.
Kohima, April 24 (MExN): Ministers’ Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School, Kohima observed Earth Day on April 22 under the global theme “Our Power, Our Planet.” The celebration aimed to instill awareness and responsibility among students towards protecting and preserving the environment.
The day began with a Green Pledge Ceremony during the first period, where students from all classes pledged to care for the Earth and adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives. A series of age-appropriate, engaging activities were conducted throughout the day.
“The school hopes that such initiatives will inspire young minds to contribute, in their own small ways, towards a greener and healthier Earth,” Jongshijiba Ozukum, Principal, MHBHSS stated in a press release.
