An unidentified miscreant has allegedly robbed several items of East Dimapur Ao Baptist Church which included faucets installed on a newly constructed hall at the church premises. The incident came to light after a viral video surfaced on Tuesday through social media showing the vandalism that had occurred there.
Speaking on this matter, a church leader clarified that the incident had actually occurred about two-week prior during the month of October. Moreover this was not the first and only time as several other churches in Dimapur had their properties stolen in the past, he revealed.
However, the church authorities have decided against filing an FIR with the police, he added.
Without going into detail, it was also assumed by the church leader that the thief could be the same person who has been going about robbing church property from different locations after looking at CCTV footages.
