Miscreants rob fuel outlet in Dimapur; ANPDU demand investigation

Dimapur, November 5 (MExN): A fuel outlet in Dimapur was reportedly robbed by armed miscreants on November 2.

In an emergency meeting held on November 4, the All Nagaland Petroleum Dealers Union (ANPDU) decided to apprise the citizens as well as the State government of the incident.

According to the Union, two miscreants riding a motor cycle came to the President, Petroleum Dealers Association’s Retail Outlet, Dimapur on November 2 and snatched away all the day’s sale proceeds at gun point from the custody of the salesman in broad daylight; after which they made their escape.

Condemning the act, the ANPDU stated that, “Such inhumane act is unacceptable in our peaceful society and the Union will never tolerate this kind of villainous act towards any business establishment as well as the society and vehemently condemn this dastardly act of those anti-social elements.”

The Union requested law enforcing agencies to properly investigate and award befitting punishments to the culprits as per the law of the land so that similar broad daylight robberies do not occur in the future.
