Kohima, May 6 (MExN): The Miss Phek Foundation (MPF), an initiative under the banner of Vogue Entertainment Nagaland (VEN) today awarded scholarships to the beneficiary for the 2024 academic session at the function held at Phek town.

The ceremony was graced by Phek Deputy Commissioner, John Tsulise Sangtam, district administration officials, members of Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union and Vice Principal of Christian Mission Higher Secondary School, Phek.

The scholarship marked a significant step towards empowering underprivileged girls in the region with access to quality education. Under this initiative, the MPF programme aims to equip underprivileged girls in Phek district with the tools for a brighter future through education. Recognizing the transformative power of education, the Foundation envisions unlocking the potential of these young girls, nurturing them to become future leaders.

Ravolu Chuzho, Deputy Chairman of MPF highlighted the Foundation’s objectives, emphasizing its commitment to uplift the community through education.

Aveyi Khesoh, former president of PTCSU, underscored the impactful activities spearheaded by MPF, highlighting its dedication to making a tangible difference.

Phek DC conveyed appreciation towards MPF for its commendable initiative, acknowledging its role in fostering positive change within the community.
