The much planned and awaited annual Miss Sumi 2016 will be held on Tuesday (November 8) at NER Agri Expo Site, 4th Mile Dimapur at 4:00 pm. The event will be graced by Minister for Roads & Bridges, Y. Vikheho Swu as the chief guest.
For the first time in the history of Miss Sumi, the beauty pageant is going to be held in Dimapur jointly organized by Sumi Totimi Hoho and Western Sumi Totimi Hoho.
The 17 contestants have been housed at Hotel Acacia, Dimapur since November 3 grooming them, providing various counselling sessions and taking them on various exposure trips.
The contestants will go through four rounds including traditional wear, modern ethnic round, designer wear and formal wear to judge them for the Miss Sumi title. There will be 10 sub-titles of various categories.
The organizers, through a press release issued by Miss Sumi 2016 Media & Publicity Committee have once again cordially invited all former Miss Sumis to be a part of the event.
