Enough is enough, and being the elected people’s representative Imkong L Imchen should think first for the state and not his son and family first. As a government himself, he should know what is the allotment of government seat from 31- 33, i.e: 2+. Fortunately, Niuto Chishi with his Godly given vision had legally gone to High Court, challenging those unqualified JEE candidate Sungtikumba and Akhoui Pase and had secured seat for himself and his next 28th rank in accordance to their level of merit, thank God!
It can be well judged the minister is incharge of the Education department particularly, in appointment, promotion and tapping of public funds. The recent being the appointment of fresh candidate to the post of Compiler, Planning Officer and Evaluation Officer (Class II Gazetted) undermining the Sr. GT from his kith and kin, including the departmental head, besides number of teachers’ appointment and Grade III officers according to official sources in the department.
When there are thousands of educated unemployed hunting for a job in the NPSC and allied competition examinations, why these gazetted posts are directly appointed by a minister alone? Are NSF, PGSU, ANCSU and DNSU not responsible for employment or are they only for other issues? Every right thinking citizen should condemn the misuse of power and victimizing the innocent meritorious students. The Minister incharge should gracefully step down on moral ground because of his malpractices and to keep his oath of allegiance to the people of Nagaland.
