Mokokchung, February 25 (MExN): Members of Mokokchung Press Club held its annual get together at Menüng River, Longjang on February 25. The club members were joined in by the spouses and family members and friends. The annual get together in the form of picnic was held as a means to relax, to learn from each other and also to find means and ways to how best serve the society as members of the fourth estate.
The MPC, which was formed in the year 2008, is the youngest press clubs in Nagaland but one of the most active press clubs in the state. Over the years since its foundation, the MPC has been playing a proactive role in the Mokokchung society.
At present, the club has more than fifteen members representing different print and audio-visual houses, and the club is headed by Limalenden Longkumer as president and Sashimeren Jamir as the general secretary.
