Mokokchung, November 12 (MExN): Mokokchung to Mariani Roadside Villagers Concern Forum (MMRVCF) along with Executive Engineer of PWD NH, Mokokchung division and his subordinates jointly inspected the ongoing road repair works in the Mokokchung to Mariani National Highway 702 D on November 11.
According to a press release from MMRVCF, the forum officials during the visit reminded the contractors and the department that they must stick to the high quality raw materials as per the specification. They also told the contractors and the department to speed up the work as the people have been suffering for a very long time and moreover the festive season is approaching.
The contractors assured the inspection team that water bound macadam (BMW) of the whole stretch will be completed by December 2017, black topping of 0 km to 10 km by December 2017, and the black topping of the entire stretch by April 2018, the release stated.
