Mobile Teaching Unit vehicle for Kiphire dist launched

Kiphire, July 29 (MExN): Mobile Teaching Unit (MTU) vehicle for Kiphire Aspirational District was flagged off at the DC’s office complex, Kiphire on July 29.

A DIPR report stated that while flagging off the MTU vehicle, Deputy Commissioner and Chairman Samagra, Kiphire T Wati Aier, NCS said, Kiphire has been very fortunate to be the only District in the state to be among Aspirational Districts in the country. He stated a lot of opportunities have been extended by Government through the programme so far. 

The DC said the purpose of MTU is to reach out to the villages and educate the students. He also requested the Department authority to provide the teachers in school establishments where there is shortfall of teaching staff in the district.

Joint Mission Director, Samagra, Nagaland, Dr Kevi Rio in his short speech, displayed a tablet that contains all the subjects according to NBSE course syllabus. He said that tablets have already been distributed for class 8 to 10 student, while for class 11 and 12 it will be delivered shortly adding that Kiphire is the only district to avail such privilege.

Vice President USSC, Setrongba lauded the Government/Agency for providing MTU vehicle for the students of Kiphire district. He also requested the staff to utilise the property in a judicious manner and for specific purpose.

The programme was chaired by Bovika, LDA while District Education Officer, Deenabandhu Panda delivered the welcome speech. Vote of thanks was proposed by MTU in-charge Kiphire Unit, Throngokyu.
