Modern College students of Class 12 Arts/Science/Commerce paid a visit to Kohima Orphanage and Destitute home on October 19 as a part of Community Service pertaining to life skills education. The students organized a short programme in the multipurpose hall with singspiration and sharing. Weche-ü, Assistant Professor of Commerce Department briefed the purpose of the visit and emphasized on the importance of life skills which is affiliated to co-curricular activities. She added that only bookish knowledge and conjoining to four walls on the classrooms are not to conducive to learning.
