Piphema, May 26 (MExN): The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Modern College, Piphema, organised a workshop for both the teaching and non-teaching faculty of the college on “Non-Verbal Aspects of Communication” on May 21. 

The workshop was divided into 3 sessions, with the first dealing with ‘body language,’ where the resource person focused on movement, postures, gestures, eye contact, and facial expressions. In the second session, ‘vocal elements’ focusing on volume, pace, pause, fillers, and tones was conducted. It concluded with the last session focusing on the training of trainers. 

A total of 31 participants attended the workshop, informed a press release from the college.  The resource person for the workshop was Worrin Muivah, Founder and CEO of Step Academy, while Teisovi Domeh, Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, moderated the sessions.
