Mokokchung conducts mock drill on COVID-19

Mokokchung, May 2 (MExN): To check the preparedness of different agencies that has been set to tackle the situation in the event of positive case of COVID-19 in the District, a mock drill was held at Mokokchung on May 2.
According to a DIPR report, the simulation involved a number of important Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) activities such as patient management and treatment, containment of COVID-19 positive area, Dead body management of diseased COVID-19 positive patient, and management of unclaimed dead body of suspected COVID -19.
The Incident Commander was ADC Mokokchung while DIG Range, Commanding Officer 23 Assam Rifles and S.P Mokokchung were the observers.
The Mock Drill was followed by a De-briefing session at the Incident Command Post (Town Hall, Mokokchung) by Deputy Commissioner, Limawabang Jamir who is also the RO (Responsible Officer).
A number of procedural lapses were highlighted by the three officers who was duly noted by the team for future references and to ensure effectiveness should the situation arise.
