Mokokchung, January 20 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji, has announced the extension of the complete closure of vehicular movement along the Mokokchung-Chare route via Dikhu for an additional two months. The closure is necessitated by ongoing Cement Treated Base (CTB) construction work along this stretch of the highway. In a public advisory, the DC has urged travelers commuting between Mokokchung and Chare to use the alternate route through Sewak Gate, Moalenden, and Meyilong to ensure smooth travel. The administration has sought cooperation from the public for the timely completion of the construction work.
