Due to incessant rain at Mokokchung for the last few days, mud slides and minor landslides occurred in different locations in the town. On July 30, heavy downpour was witnessed from late evening till past midnight. On July 31, a building where the family of Zulutemla resides was badly damaged due to landslide at around 2:00 am at Artang Ward; however, there were no casualties.
