Our Correspondent Phek | April 11 Mokokchung today lifted the coveted trophy of the 8th Nagaland Veteran Football Tournament 2017. Mokokchung emerged as the champion after edging Wokha via tie-break 4-3. Kohima won third place after defeating Tuensang 2-0 in the 3rd and 4th place play-off. MLA Dr. Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire graced the closing ceremony as the guest of honour. It may be recalled that the tournament, hosted by Phek District Veteran Football Association was started on April 7 last.
