Mokokchung District Cricket Association (MDCA) in a press conference held at Same Old Place, Mokokchung informed that the 29th MDCA Inter-club cricket tournament will commence from February 22.
Imlikumzuk, President, MDCA, said that the 2021 edition of MDCA Inter-club Cricket tournament will be organized by Titans Cricket Club under the aegis of the MDCA.
"This year the MDCA decided to outsource the organization of the inter-club tournament with an aim to share the responsibilities of organizing a cricket tournament and to create space for upcoming leadership and promotion of the game," he said. He also added that the MDCA functions under the directives of the Nagaland Cricket Association which is affiliated to BCCI
The Titans Cricket club, four times champion of the Inter-club cricket tournament signed a MoU with the MDCA to host the 2021 edition.
The MDCA also informed that players under various categories for representing Mokokchung district at the district level will be selected during the tournament.
The tournament will carry a cash prize worth one lakh with certificates and trophies along with individual prizes.
The forms for the tournament will be issued from 15 February and will be available at Lovely Centre, near Police point and Fix Your Fixation near Yongpang market.
