Mon, January 28 (MExN): District Health Society, Mon organised a seminar on ‘strengthening of Routine Immunization RI & reorientation in TB elimination programme’ was conducted by Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) Board, Mon at town council hall on January 25.
The NHM Mon Media officer in a press release stated that the seminar highlighted on strengthening RI, group interaction & discussion, RMNCH+A/ANC, identifying High Risk Pregnancy, VNHD, Role of ASHAs & AWWs, New vaccines introduced in UIP, Measles Rubella Elimination 2023, Reorientation on TB elimination and Post test.
The resource persons were Dr Tinenlo James District TB Officer Mon, Dr Chingyen Medical Officer, Wakching CHC, M Bonnie Konyak DPM NHM Mon, Rebek Khongsai PBBSc (N) CHO Tizit vill SC-HWC and Ngeplei W Konyak BSc (N) CHO Chinglong SC-HWC.
Dr Vezokholu Theyo, Chief Medical Officer, Mon said objective of the training is to impart knowledge, skill and education to all our nurses. On behalf of the CNE board of Mon District, Dr Vezokholu assured the information on the subject would be executed with zero doubt.
A panel was also held with Thronlem SN District Hospital Mon and Leye Montu MSc (N) as panellists and Kijamongla SN District Hospital, Mon and Yingngam BSc (N) CHO Wangti HWC as moderators.
