Legislators of Mon District along with Konyak Union Kohima at the Konyak Morung Kisama, November 16
KOHIMA, November 16 (MExN): With the Hornbill festival slated to be held from December 1-10, a team of Legislators from Mon district led by Minister Health and Family Welfare Nagaland, P Paiwang Konyak inspected The Naga Heritage Village, Kisama on November 16. Konyak Union Kohima who were at the site (Konyak Morung), briefed the legislators on the present status of the Morung and the need to beautify the Morung, Press Secretary to the Minister H&FW stated in a press release.
Following the inspection, the legislators viewed that the Morung requires maximum renovation including toilets. Besides the requirement placed by the Konyak Union Kohima, the legislators assured to extend all possible help and to cooperate towards the success of the festival. Along with the minister, advisor DUDA W. Chingang Konyak, MLA A. Nyamnyei Konyak, MLA Y. Mankhao Konyak and MLA C. Manpon Konyak inspected the Morung.
