More appeals justice for alleged rape of minor 

Kohima, July 15 (MExN): Western Yimkhiung Liberü Arihako (WYLA) has condemned the alleged sexual assault perpetrated against a 5 year old girl on July 9 at Tsiesema Kohima. 

WYLA in its press release stated that as an organization dedicated to the protection and welfare of women and children, it is profoundly outraged by the heinous crime. “We implore the law enforcement agencies to take immediate and decisive action to identify and apprehend the perpetrator, and to ensure that justice is served,” it appealed.

While standing in solidarity with the victim and her family, WYLA called upon members of its community to join them in denouncing this act of violence. It further appealed to all units to provide full cooperation with the authorities in their investigation. “We trust that justice will be served,” WYLA stated and expressed hope that the victim and her family will find comfort and healing.

The Sangtamlaru Thsingmujang, Kohima Unit also strongly condemned the inhuman barbaric rape of minor girl at Tsiesema, Kohima. 

It stated that perpetrators of such heinous crimes cannot be tolerated in civilized society. The union demanded the law enforcing agencies to investigate thoroughly and give all efforts to nab the culprit and deliver justice as deemed under Jaw at the earliest. 

ST Kohima Unit also expressed sympathy with the victim and pray that she quickly recovers from her mental and physical trauma.
