Thahekhu Youths distributing tree saplings to Mothers on Mother’s Day celebration held today at Thahekhu Baptist Church, Dimapur.
DIMAPUR, MAY 8 (MExN): With the rest of the world, the Thahekhu Baptist Church today observed Mother’s Day with Rev. Phughoto Aye, Director, Wind & Fire Ministry, as the speaker who spoke on the theme ‘A visionary Mother ’. Y.Hewoto Awomi, MLA exhorted the mothers and urged them to be an honest wife of a husband and a prudent mother of her children. The MLA also donated a sum of Rs. 1.0 Lac towards women Department.
In an unusual way of expression of love and admiration for the mothers, the Youth Department gifted the mothers with a rose flower and a tree sapling which signifies and represents them with the tree of Hope, shelter, full of love as its evergreen leaves, bloom with charms as its flowers, bear the fruit of gentleness and stand firm in faith as the tree. Finally, Rev. Dr. Yehevi Jimo, Pastor, TBC offered a special prayer for the mothers.
