MP Papu Yadav vows to be voice of NE, Nagaland

Our Correspondent Kohima | December 4   Member of Parliament from Bihar, Rajesh Ranjan (Papu Yadav) today expressed concern that there is less development in north eastern states and vowed to be the voice of the north eastern states and especially the state of Nagaland.   Talking to media persons on the sideline of gracing Hornbill Festival (Culturally Yours event) at Kisama today, he expressed that the state of Nagaland is still lagging in development.   He expressed his concern that the state is yet to have engineering college, medical college, IT, MBA.   Yadav said provided he got a written note, he would raise his concern for the development of the state in the area of farmers development and education sector in the next parliament session.   Referring to his visit to Nagaland, he praised the rich culture and tradition of the Nagas, adding that he was impressed by “loving attitude” of the people.   He also stressed on the need to have peace and unity for all round development of the state.   MP Ranjita Ranjan, wife of Papu Yadav termed the Hornbill festival as “inspiring.’    

NCSU interacts with Lok Sabha MPs

  The Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers Union (NCSU) hosted Rajesh Ranjan (Papu) Yadav and his wife Ranjeet Ranjan, both Members of Parliament during their visit to Kohima for the Hornbill Festival, the Festival of Festivals at Naga Heritage Village Kohima, Nagaland.   The NCSU officials and members led by President Pele Khezhie had the opportunity to interact with both of them over lunch at Ao Morung in Kisama.   NCSU General Secretary, John Kath in a press release stated that both the MPs expressed their concern on the lack of progress in the State and assured to take up concerns of development before the Parliament.   The NCSU expressed hope that the two MPs will be the ambassadors of the Naga people in projecting and promoting us before the rest of the country and the world.
