MSME schemes should not go wasted: APC Nagaland

Chümoukedima, October 3 (MExN): Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC) Nagaland, Kikheto  Sema (IAS) convened a meeting with Agri and Allied officials with regard to the daylong workshop scheduled on October 7.

During the meeting held on October 3, APC Nagaland said that there are several schemes/projects under the Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and felt that “the Naga entrepreneurs should avail the schemes instead of letting it go wasted.”

Therefore, he said that workshop specially for availing MSME schemes would be conducted by MSME officials and entrepreneurs from the mainland where genuine Naga entrepreneurs will be given the platform, stated a DIPR report.  In the meeting, work distribution was assigned to the concern departments for arranging logistics for conduct of the workshop.

The APC Nagaland also informed that since last year, Chief Minister of Nagaland had “a desire for organising workshop for the entrepreneurs” and for which proposal was sent to the ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, New Delhi. Joint Secretary, Mo, MSME Mercy Epao and APC Nagaland will address the inaugural session which would be followed by technical sessions.
