DIMAPUR, MAY 31 (MExN): Mount Hermon School, Darogajan, Dimapur has organised an online painting competition and other activities to spread awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco use and to discourage the use of tobacco in any form. A press release informed that the students, through painting, essay and video messages highlighted the hazardous effects of consuming tobacco and its complications on others as well.
Sunny Gangmei, Head Mistress meanwhile delivered a video message on World No Tobacco Day stressing on the need for a tobacco and smoke free world. The students were informed on the harmful effects of smoking and consuming other tobacco products.
The best three of each group will be awarded after school reopens and the videos will be uploaded in the school’s YouTube channel.
