Heritage Band perform at the MTF Live series at Life Pro Café, Kohima on May 31.
Kohima, May 31 (MExN): In a bid to promote and strengthen the synergy between Local musicians and their promoters in the state, the Music Task Force (MTF) today kick started its MTF Live series this evening as the Heritage Band performed at Life Pro Café, Kohima. Addressing the gathering Gugs Chishi, Project Director, Music Task Force (MTF) explained that the MTF had started this grass root programme in order to mold and bring up musicians to a level where quality music can be produced. He said that the prime focus of this series was to help the musicians so that they will be able to sustain themselves through their music, with the MTF acting as facilitator between the Musicians and their promoters. Rattle & Hum Lounge, Life Pro Café will be hosting the Live series in Kohima, Jumpin Bean will be the event promoter for Dimapur, while for Mokokchung the Live series will be held at Cosmos Hall. The four event promoters have been sanctioned a sum of 30,000 by the MTF for organizing the Live shows which will be held once in a month.
