Mumbai team conducts medical camp at Longleng

  Longleng, April 24 (MExN): The inaugural programme of the three-day medical camp at District Hospital Longleng was launched by Deputy Commissioner, John T Sangtam at MS Office on April 23.   The medical camp is organised under the initiative of the Governor of Nagaland under the banner Indian National Fellowship Centre (INFC) Mumbai. The medical team from Mumbai is led by Dr Jinesh Dugad Maxillo facial surgeon Dr Rohan Bartakke Tobacco Treatment Specialist, Dr Akshay Gosavi Physician and Dr Sachin Manjrekar Physician.   The purpose of the team is to sensitize regional public about the ill effects of tobacco, and to identify the prevalence of oral cancer through modern diagnostic techniques and general health check up. (DIPR photo)[/caption] The DC expressed gratitude to the Governor of Nagaland for organising the medical camp at Longleng. He also thanked the CMO, MS and staffs for making all the necessary arrangements for the smooth functioning of the three day health camp. He encouraged all the doctors and nurses and staffs from District Hospital to co-operate with the medical team from Mumbai and also assured of his help from the administration side.   Earlier the programme was chaired by MS Dr Toshirenla. Invocation prayer was said by Mongngoi Associate Pastor, Longleng Town Baptist Church, welcome address by CMO Dr KongyanPhom, short speeches was delivered by President Phom People’s Council and Dr J Dugad Maxillofacial Surgeon INFC Mumbai.   The programme was attended by doctors and nurses from District Hospital, MS and NHM staffs.
