Dimapur, February 14 (MExN): New dates for the Musik-A Festival were announced on Monday.
The event which was scheduled for December last year will now be held from February 18 to 20 at the Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre, 6th Mile, Sovima.
The first day of the event will feature the state’s first Comedy Festival with names like Hopong Naga, Aseno Ayemi, Hobi Tsang, Sunep Lemtur, Mr Smile, and Inglish Maker, among others, taking the stage.
Over the course of the three-day festival, revellers will also witness dance battles, beatbox battles and a ‘Battle of the Bands’ and performances from a number of artistes as well as a ‘showdown’ between Moko Koza and G’Nie.
On the third night, the festival will host the International EDM Nite with DJ Ankita Arya as the headlining act.
Meanwhile, organisers of the event, Musik-A Events, issued a statement inviting citizens to be part of the ‘dream project.’
“We need your support, please come and be a part of it. Take out your valuable time for a weekend amidst the chaos.”
