Kohima, June 15 (MExN): The Nagaland Amateur Boxing Association (NABA) has informed all concerned district boxing association that election of its office bearers will be held in July 30.
The election previously scheduled in April could not be held due to COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, informed a press release from NABA Honorary General Secretary T Meren Paul.
NABA also directed all the district boxing associations who have participated in the last Inter District Boxing Championship during the 1st Nagaland Olympics Game 2017 to submit the list of their office bearers with complete postal address, mobile number and email address in order to dispatch Election Rules/Nomination format for participation in the election.
The details can be mailed via postal service to NABA General Secretary, N0. 113, Lower PR Hill, Below Mizo Church, Kohima 79700, on or before June 25.
Association can also send the information via electronic mail to merenpaul@yahoo.co.in.
Respective District Sports Officers who have filled their District Teams during the 1st Nagaland Olympic Games are also requested to initiate their District Boxing Association and submit the information as sought,
Without providing such information, the district associations shall not be allowed to participate in the election, the release added.
