Naga Bowl Bakery launched in Dimapur

Dimapur, January 11 (MExN): The Naga Bowl has opened its bakery- ‘Naga Bowl Bakery’, at Super Market, Dimapur on January 11. Naga Bowl Bakery is an extension of The Naga Bowl Restaurant. The management for this new venture is partnered with Chef Loni Khing from Tseminyu district.

Loni Khing is the pastry chef and co-owner of ‘Naga Bowl Bakery’. She did her Hotel Management from The Global Open University, Nagaland and joined the Hyatt Regency (Kolkata) in 2011. “Now she has over a decade of domestic and international experience working with some of the best names in the confectionary and bakery business,” a press release received here stated. 

During this period, she has donned a wide variety of hats as ‘Chef de Partie’ at the Bombay Canteen (Voted the best restaurant of India) and the Bombay Sweet Shop, and as ‘Pastry Cook’ at the Dominique Ansel Bakery (New York) to name a few. A detail oriented professional with a flair for creating customized desserts and bespoke cakes, Loni has returned home to start her own business with a dream of bringing international standards to the domestic confectionary and bakery market of Nagaland.

The unique aspect of Naga Bowl Bakery is its commitment to include elements of Naga ingredients in its bakery items, the release added.
