The NDA has announced that six of its member will participate at the Cosmo Malaysian Open Darts Championship 2024 (MO24) at Kaula Lumpur from September 27-29.

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 28 (MExN): The Nagaland Darts Association (NDA) has announced that six (6) of its member will participate at the Cosmo Malaysian Open Darts Championship 2024 (MO24) at Kaula Lumpur from September 27-29.
The championship is organized by Malaysia Darts Association (MDA) and this would be the first by Naga darters to partake at an International competition. The participation of the Naga Darts members will be a flagship initiatives and challenge of a giant step to carry the torch and to open avenue for future transcendence, build relationship and association for our youngster at international platform, a press release issued by NDA secretary, Burakum Ao stated.
MO24 is a proprietary event of MDA, intended to bring together the best darts players under a single unified banner to spur competition and raise the level of the game in the World. The local and international Darts fraternity embraces the MO24 event as a worthwhile concept and sees it as a legitimate avenue to pit their skills against the best of their contemporaries from the World. The event will serve as a platform that gives players the opportunity to shine, as well as potentially earn lucrative prize monies, the press release said.
The NDA and its players rely on personal and community support, along with token contributions from the Association, to sustain its activities. Any contributions towards the event will greatly enhance the outreach, performance of the players, and future growth of the sport, the press release stated.
The NDA also highlighted that Naga Darters has participated at various national- level events, recognized by the International Darts bodies of Professional Darts Cooperation (PDC) & World Darts Federation (WDF). These events include the World Cup India Qualifier, National Ranking Tournament (organized by IDF, IDC, and AIDA), Asia Cup Qualifier, Asia Pacific Cup India Qualifier, National Masters Games, National Police Cup, Bengal Rowing Club Tournament, and more, it added.
