Gold medal winner Odimongba from Nagaland with other winners of the Junior (45kgs) category at the 9th Blind and Deaf Judo Championships 2021 being held at Lucknow.
Dimapur, March 20 (MExN): Odimongba from Nagaland secured the gold medal in the Junior (45kgs) category at the 9th Blind and Deaf Judo Championships 2021 being held at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh from March 18 to 22.
Odimongba was part of the Nagaland Blind and Para Judo Association which took part in the Championship. According to a press release from Abhishek Sen Choudhury, President of the Nagaland Blind and Para Judo Association, the Blind Team members representing Nagaland participated in the Junior (45kgs), Junior (50kgs), Junior (55kgs), Junior (60kgs), Senior (60kgs), and Senior (66kgs) categories as well.
The guides were Rongsenyanger and Chubakaba while the team coach was Somnath Chakraborty, Coach (Contract), Nagaland University.
