Naga mothers appreciate Khaplang on unity move

DIMAPUR, MAY 19 (MExN): Appreciating the NSCN (K) statement on unity and reconciliation, as conveyed by its Chairman, S. S. Khaplang which appeared in the various daily Newspapers of Nagaland on May 19 as issued by Y. Wangtin Naga, Dy, Kilonser of Kilo Affairs, GPRN/NSCN-K, that  the NSCN-K is “not averse to unity and reconciliation among the Nagas” and further clarifying that “he did not say unity should  be minus Tangkhus nor should be plus Tangkhuls”, the Naga Mothers’ Association has placed on record, its deep sense of gratitude, terming it as “the need of the hour”. 

The NMA in a press communiqué issued by Khesheli Chishi, president,  has once again appealed to all the Naga underground leaders to desist from further isolating fellow Nagas in any way, but to rather strengthen and re-enforce the Naga people’s greatest desire for peace through unity and reconciliation among the various Naga groups. “We are confident that whatever outside forces may say or do to divide the Nagas, the truth will prevail and Naga people will come together for the common good of the Naga family”, the NMA stated while welcoming the statement of Chairman SS Khaplang.
