Further, it assured to continue to voice the feelings and desires of the Naga people.”

In its appeal to citizens through its manifesto, NPF made a fervent appeal to each and every voter in Nagaland to choose the NPF with a proven leader against a morally bankrupt opposition that “lacks ideology and leadership, and has a history of betrayal on the Naga issue.”

“We request you to choose the NPF, instead of opposition that is uncertain about its leadership, and is badly divided amongst its leaders & ranks,” the manifesto stated.

“To choose security, progress and peace, choose NPF,” it stated adding “Our victory will be people’s victory.”
