Dimapur, Jan 15 (MExN): Ridiculing what it stated is the NSCN-IM using the Naga movement to ‘solve’ unemployment problems by eliminating people, the NSCN-K says that the Naga movement was started by the Nagas for Nagaland and whatever solution is achieved would be for the Nagas only and not “Nagalim”.
“The political movement of the Naga nation started by the Naga people for the people of Nagaland and accordingly the solution to this problem will be for the people of Nagaland and not for Nagalim” stated Y Wangtin Naga Deputy Kilonser of ‘Home Affairs’, NSCN-K. The genuineness of the movement must be decided by the Nagas alone and that Th. Muivah “who is a good citizen of Manipur” has already dropped the demand for sovereignty, it stated. The Kilonser asserted that the Nagas will be represented only by their selves and no other.
The NSCN-K also made clear that Naga organizations should choose which boat to sail in and express their support or rejection to whichsoever they choose to. “No Naga NGOs will be allowed to sail on two boats simultaneously. They should either support terrorist peace process and face the consequences or stay silent” Kilonser Wangtin asserted.
According to the Kilonser, the NSCN-IM under its General Secretary Th. Muivah has adopted a ‘dominant policy’ by taking the lives of innocent people, including politicians, contractors and businessmen, creating fear-psychosis in the mind of the people.
The NSCN-IM with “unemployed youth of Manipur” has found an “earning project” to solve their unemployment problems and for them the Naga movement would be an asset for “their hungry stomach” the Kilonser stated. “They are always at the profit both in the sell-out settlement or lingering the movement because through this genuine movement, they not only earn their living, luxury, but also enjoying the status both in Nagaland and abroad in the name of Naga sovereignty” the NSCN-K stated while lamenting that Naga youths have been misled by ‘outside masters’ and lowering the level of their original status in their own homes’.
In regard to Konyak youths in the NSCN-IM, the Kilonser said that they are now like slaves to foreign masters servile to cruel rulers. They cannot save the lives of innocent Konyak publics from the NSCN-IM. “They may have their thousand writing pads, may write pages of letters to their cruel authority but in vain only because they are slaves. They should therefore denounce the terrorist group and work under other Naga Army under the liberal leader SS Khaplang, N Kitovi and Gen. Khole. No Konyak will be either harm, harass or kill under any pretext by the Naga army without the knowledge of the Konyak Region because it has authority over its people” the Kilonser added.
