Mangalore, August 14 (MExN): Naga Students’ Forum Mangalore (NSFM) organised its 9th Fresher’s Meet on August 14 at Summer Sands Resort, Ullal, Mangalore.
Around 60 students, freshers and old timers, gathered for the occasion, where Vizhoto Tetso and Judith Kuotsu were adjudged Mr and Miss Freshers of NSFM, 2016.
Kaini Cecilia, Principal, K. Pandyarajah Ballal College of Nursing and Advisor to NSFM and North East People Association of Mangalore gave the exhortation.
The event saw varieties of competitions where winners were given cash prize. The first place in the pork eating competition was bagged by Savio Kikhi and second place was secured by YR Kapangsing. In the biscuit eating competition, Rebecca and Koulnu bagged the first prize while Margaret and Judith bagged the second prize. Naga wrestling was also held, in which Savio Kikhi and Kevin Thol emerged first and second winners respectively.
The programme was chaired by Ngukatoli Yeppo, while welcome address was given by Mayikho Kadete, followed by presidential address by Chiheuding Khate. Speech on behalf of the freshers was given by Uneinuo Solo.
