Dimapur, September 17 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Union Bangalore (NSUB) celebrated its 49th Freshers’ Meet at United Theological College, Bangalore on September 15.
Dr. Samuel Paul Issac, Director Krupanidhi Group of Institution graced the event as the chief guest. He spoke on the importance of Godliness in life and advised the youths to remember God in all the ways. Stating that “a man without vision perishes”, he inculcating the youths to “have dreams and vision in every perspectives, never to give up, but to keep chasing the goal.”
The NSUB in a press release said that the 49th Freshers’ Meet was sponsored by Smoky tribe restaurant, Crossroad Cafe, Somilan steak house, Brand Neurons Pvt. Ltd., Rengma Union Bangalore, Lotha Students’ Union Bangalore, Maring Marnorap Bangalore and Angami Students’ Union Bangalore.
The event saw participation from all the sub-unit student bodies and members. A special prayer for the Freshers was led by Rev. Zhabu Yimsung, Pastor, NCFB.
In the second session, there were a plethora of cultural activities which included folk dance, traditional attire shows and exhibition of talents from individuals and groups alike. Boska P Awomi and Nendi Seb were crowned the title Mr. and Ms. Freshers, 2018 respectively. The programme ended with a general body meeting.
