Naga Students’ Union Kolkata elects first woman president

Kolkata, April 18 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Union Kolkata (NSUK) has elected its first woman president in its 52 years of existence. The election was held on April 9 during the 51st parting social of the union.   The names of the newly elected executives of Naga Students’ Union Kolkata for the tenure 2016-17 are: President - Alono Thorie; General Secretary - Nungsangtoshi Aier; Assistant General Secretary - Nibo D. Zhimo; Finance Secretary - Tonikali Shikhu; Cultural Secretary - Meshach Khing; Assistant Cultural Secretary - Lorenbeni Ezung; Games and Sports Secretary - Thejaselhou Rhetso; Information Secretary - Ayang Ozukum.

  The NSUK in a press release has requested families and relatives of students to send their wards to the city with proper verification and consultation from the union.
