
20 wrestlers vying for ‘King Of The Ring Championship 2021’ title

The Naga Wrestle Mania 8 - King Of The Ring Championship 2021 will be held on February 27, 3:00 pm at Naga Solidarity Park, Kohima.
Under the aegis of Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA), the one day event is being organized by 3E Nagaland
Kethosituo Elvis Mepfhüo, management head, 3E Nagaland said that 20 Naga wrestlers will be vying for the coveted title ‘King Of The Ring Championship 2021’ title.
The champion will receive a cash prize Rs 50,000 while the runner-up will receive Rs 30,000, and cash prizes of Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 will be for third and fourth position respectively.
There will be live pay-per-view (PPV) streaming of the event on Facebook making it the first ever PPV event in the history of Naga wrestling.
Facebook users can follow Naga Wrestle Mania page for details to buy PPV access to the event ‘King Of The Ring Championship 2021’ for Rs 249 using any debit card.
Meanwhile in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the managing head said despite having the venue having more than 1000 capacity, he informed seating capacity will be limited to around 400 tickets which will be made available at the venue costing Rs 300 for gallery and Rs 2000 for donor tickets.
“All attendees at the Championship, wrestlers, officials and spectators must compulsorily wear masks and will undergo thermal screening and sanitizing procedures before entry into the venue,” he added.
