The Elysian Entertainment held a ‘fitness test’ for the contestants of Patkai Model Hunt 2022 to choose the Fitness Icon of the year. The session was held at Muscle Fuel Gym, Chümoukedima on October 8 and the grand finale of the model hunt will be held on October 22 at Patkai Christian College.

Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission, Meluri Block Women SHG in collaboration with district administration, Department of Agriculture, Forest Department, JICA & Rural Development inaugurated a marketing shed for a weekly bazaar at Meluri Town on October 7. EAC Meluri Yithachu Thur, said for the sustenance of a good market, healthy competition between individuals and groups of individuals is essential. Short speeches were delivered by Phrumasie Nyuthe SDAO Meluri, Vivi Nyuthe Area Co-ordinator NSRLM, and Jitsiarhopo field co-ordinator NFMP. Assistant Conservator of Forest, Dzuthovito Loho inaugurated the Meluri Women's Weekly Bazaar. The programme was chaired by Tasi Nyusou, Finance Secretary of the Block Level Federation. A weeklong handicraft exhibition was inaugurated by K Yehoshe Aomi, General Manager, NHHDC Ltd, Dimapur on October 7. The exhibition is organized by Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation and sponsored by the office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) Ministry of Textiles, New Delhi. All together there are 50 participants from Assam, Manipur and from the various districts of Nagaland, exhibiting varieties of Hand crafted Products. The exhibition will be held till October 13.
