Viva-Voce to start from October 28

A total of 152 candidates have cleared written examination of the NCS, NPS, NSS & Allied Services (Main) Examination 2018 and qualified for the Viva-Voce.

 

The Nagaland Public Service Commission declared the result on October 2 and 152 candidates were selected on the basis of marks secured in the written examination.

 

NPSC Secretary, Khrupi Sothu , in a notification informed that the  Viva-voce will commence from  October 28.

 

The selected candidates are also informed that submit attested/self-attested photocopies of the relevant documents along with Original Documents for scrutiny from October 15-21.

 

The documents include:  HSLC/Matriculation/Equivalent Admit Card for proof of Date of Birth; Mark Sheets from HSLC/Equivalent onwards till present qualification; and Pass Certificate of HSLC, HSSLC & Degree issued by Board/University.

 

“In absence of Degree pass certificate issued by University, candidates may submit provisional pass certificate issued by Institution/University,” the notification said.

 

For ‘physically handicapped candidate,’ certificate from competent medical authority must be submitted.

 

Indigenous Inhabitants, Scheduled Caste/Tribe and   Backward Tribe (if applicable) certificates should be signed only by District Authority not below the rank of Additional Deputy Commissioner strictly as per latest formats, it added.

 

For candidates who are Government Employees, “No Objection Certificate” should be produced duly signed by the Head of the Department, with Name and Office Seal, along with date of appointment, the notification informed.

 

The Interview call letter s will be issued from the Commission’s Office only to those candidates whose documents have been scrutinized and found to be in proper order, it said.

 

Selected candidates will also be required to exercise their post preference and submit their particulars in prescribed format which will be issued by the Commission.

 

Candidates are also required to produce all the original documents on the day of Viva-voce without which they will not be allowed to appear the Viva-voce.

The NPSC’s first notification issued on August 31 last year regarding NCS, NPS, NSS & Allied Services Examination 2018, had invited applications for 62 vacancies in the Government of Nagaland.

 

The vacancies  included 15 posts of Extra Assistant Commissioner (Class-I Gazetted, Junior Grade) and 40 posts of Secretariat Assistant (Class-III Non-Gazetted) under Personnel & Administrative Reforms, Department;  4 posts of Excise Inspector (Class-II Gazetted) under Excise Department; 1 post of Employment Officer (Class-II Gazetted) under Labour & Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Department; and 1 Assistant Public Relation Officer (Class-II Gazetted) and 1 Information Assistant (Class-III Non-Gazetted) under Information & Public Relation, Department.
