Nagaland: 24 new COVID-19 cases

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 11 (MExN): 24 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Nagaland on October 11. The State’s total caseload now stands at 31,473. 24 recoveries from the infection were also reported on the day. Of this, 29,529 patients have recovered and there are 257 active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland. The Health Department’s daily bulletin informed that the new cases include 17 from Dimapur, 3 from Tunensang, 2 from Mokokchung, and 1 each from Peren and Phek. They comprise of 15 detected through self testing and random sampling, 4 frontline workers, 2 from the armed forces, 2 travelers/returnees, and 1 traced contact. Meanwhile, of the State’s active cases, 190 are symptomatic, 47 have mild symptoms, 6 have moderate symptoms requiring oxygen, 9 have severe symptoms requiring oxygen, and 5 patients are in the ICU (4 on ventilators).
