Nagaland: 34 new COVID-19 cases reported, State tally at 5,263

A total of 34 COVID-19 positive cases were reported on September 16, taking the State’s tally to 5,263. According to a DIPR report, out of the total cases on Wednesday, 31 were detected in Dimapur, 2 in Mon and 1 in Kohima. Meanwhile, according to the Nagaland COVID-19 bulletin, the total number of recoveries in the State till date was 3,968 while total active cases stood at 1,261. As per the severity of symptoms, 1,252 active cases are asymptomatic, 7 active cases are mild and 2 active cases are moderate, a DIPR report stated. The number of deaths was registered as 10, with 5 more deaths tagged as ‘not COVID related’.
