Nagaland: 71.12% students clear NU Bachelor Degree exams

The Nagaland University on May 29 declared the provisional result of BA, B.Com, B.Sc and BBA three years undergraduate course Semester Examinations held in the month of April.  

According to NU’s Result Gazette, the overall pass percentage in the Final Semester Examination 2018 was 71.12%.  

A total of 8414 students appeared the final semester exam out of which 5984 were successful.  

The pass percentage in the Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours was 77.78% with 3105 passing the exam out of 3992 students.  

In BA General, the pass percentage was 63%, with 1911 qualifying the exam out of 3000 candidates.  

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) General produced the best results with all the 34 students clearing the exam.  

The pass percentages in Bachelor of Commerce (Gen) and B.Com (Hons) were 54.65% and 65.51% respectively.  

In the Bachelor of Science exams, the pass percentage for General was 61.54% while it was 64.56% B.Sc (Hons).  

The results of Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) was withhold due to non submission of marks, the University said in a notification.  

The University also declared the results of the 4th Semester exam on May 29.  

“While all possible care has been taken to ensure accuracy in the result published, errors if any shall be rectified as per the rules of the University as and when detected,” NU Controller of Examination Dr. Abemo stated in a notification posted on the University website.
