The three-day Association of Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland 3rd biennial youth conference saw an attendance of 421 delegates from 42 churches. It concluded on October 9.
Mon, October 12 (MExN): The three-day Association of Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) 3rd biennial youth conference held at Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjum (KBBB) Mission center, Mon District Nagaland concluded on October 9.
The conference saw an attendance of 421 delegates from 42 churches. A press release from Youth Secretary, AGBCN stated that the main speakers were Adrian Dewan, song writer & worship leader from Nepal and Uma Magar, Deputy Executive Director, International Needs Network, Nepal.
The conference included praise and worship by Nepali Baptist Church Kohima & Gorkha Baptist Church Mon. Exhibition of Gorkhas cultural, battle of bands, culture dance competition & secretary report competition.
In the various categories, the winners were as follows: Battle of Band - NBC Kohima, winner; NBC Padumpukhuri, 1st runners up; GBC Diphupar 2nd runners up; Cultural Dance- NBC Thahekhu, winner, NBC Wokha, 1st runners up and NBC Kohima, 2nd Runners up. In Secretary Report, GBC Mon won 1st position, followed by NBC Chümoukedima, 1st Runners up; NBC Kohima, 2nd Runners up while NBC Kohima won the Best Discipline. Nepali Baptist Church Kohima was declared the overall champion of 2022.
