In view of the forthcoming South Asian Cross Country Championships and 56th National Cross Country Championships scheduled for March 26 in Kohima, Nagaland Athletics today launched Team Nagaland Kit at Talimeren Conference Room of Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) office complex, Kohima.
NOA Secretary General, Abu Metha maintained that the kits are of very high quality.
He said that such kits will not only be used for this event but for other occasions as well.
“We want our sportspersons to use the best. We don’t want them to be lacking in kit and equipment,” Metha said, who is also Associate Vice, President of Athletics Federation of India and Advisor to Chief Minister of Nagaland
“We want to ensure that our sportspersons who work so hard and put in so much effort should atleast use the best quality kits and best quality equipment. That is our aspiration,” he said adding that “within its capacity, Nagaland Athletics is giving them the best kit possible.”
He said Nagaland Athletics used the team of young creators, designers and innovators who came up with design for Nagaland Athletics. Congratulating Digital 112 and Kaki Marketing, Dimapur for this job, he said “This is the creation of our own youngsters who are so innovative and creative.”
It is produced by Shiv Naresh that produces Indian Olympic Association (IOA) kit, Metha said.
