Nagaland: Bolero washed away in Shukhovi, one missing

Dimapur, October 6 (MExN): A bolero with five occupants was washed away by a flash flood in Shukhovi on Sunday evening and one person is still missing, informed the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) today. 

While 3 occupants managed to escape, one person was rescued and other is missing, it said. 

“Out of the 5 occupants, 3 managed to escape while 1 was rescued and one person still missing,” the official Twitter handle of NSDMA updated on Tuesday. 

The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Dimapur along with State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) of Home Guard's & Civil Defence are on a search and rescue operation, it added.
