Kohima, March 21 (MExN): The budget session of Nagaland Legislative Assembly for 2011-2012 will start here from March 22 till 29. This will be the ninth session of the 11th Nagaland Legislative Assembly. The business to be transacted during the Budget Session include the Governor's speech on the opening day, obituary references, Question Hours, laying of papers, reports and rules, government bills, presentation of various Assembly committee reports and resolutions if any. Presentations of supplementary demands for grant for regularization of excess expenditure for 2003-2004 and for 2010-2011 and Budget for 2011-2012 would also be held. Ahead of the session, a meeting of the legislators of Naga Peoples’ Front (NPF), the major coalition partner of ruling Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) took place today at the State Banquet Hall. A meeting of Congress Legislature Party (CLP) also held at the official residence of opposition leader Tokheho Yeptho here today.
