
Dimapur, January 12 (MExN): Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has extended greetings to the Chang and Mech Kachari communities on the occasion of Poang Lüm and Aai-Sagi, respectively.
In a message shared on social media, he highlighted the essence of Aai-Sagi as expressing gratitude to the Almighty and hoped that the celebrations would foster unity and prosperity. “This joyful post-harvest festival is a time to express gratitude to the Almighty for a bountiful harvest. May the celebrations foster unity, bring happiness, and prosperity to all,” he added.
CM Rio also described the Poang Lüm festival as a time to renew old bonds and friendships. “This festival is a time to renew old bonds and friendships, while celebrating the shared values of love, unity, and respect. May the festival bring peace and progress to all,” he added.
